A Cascading Failure Model of the Air Traffic Control Network Based on the Theory of Interdependent Networks

With the continuous development of information technology, a spontaneous interdependent network has formed within air traffic control network. Due to internal interdependence, any small, failed node may trigger cascade failure entire system. The purpose this study is investigate resilience networks. Based on management regulations, new cascading model for networks proposed, which based theory establishes dual-layer dependency relationship between coordination and route facility network, including service dependency. Through experiments, targeted measures are proposed improve safety reliability control. This introduces parameters such as cost capability, reflects final number nodes after steady-state failure, network’s rate, system’s load threshold.
